Our project is to allow users to build their own interactive comic books via an online creation application. Adobe Flash was used to create the application. All of the application data will be stored in a database as XML data. This allows the program to be able to recognize and recreate a user-made interactive comic. To demonstrate the capabilities of our application, our group will create our own unique story, made entirely using our interactive comic creator. When creating their own stories, the user will be able to upload assets or use assets already provided by the team. Users will be able to create characters, objects, and dialogue, and add animation and interactivity as they see fit. After the comic book is created, the user will then be able to share his or her interactive comic with other users.
